We mentioned over a month ago that something big was in store for Nightwing in the upcoming Forever Evil "event" by DC. Well, now Bleeding Cool has revealed that they "know" just what that something is.
Don't let the teaser image mislead you...
I mean, how could a bloody Nightwing symbol not completely give away that the shocking thing to happen to him will be that he is forced to reveal his identity. Granted, we didn't think he would be killed off, but if Rich is correct here, then it's going in a different direction that I was expecting.
...we may be getting another big media event and, after getting a thorough drubbing, will be captured by Superwoman’s lasso and forced to reveal his identity to the world, as Dick Grayson.
I know, I know, Images of a bloody Nightwing and bloody Nightwing symbols just completely spoils that reveal. Even more shocking is how this will all make sense. I mean, wouldn't the world knowing who Nightwing is make it much easier to track down Batman's identity? Supposedly this is a change that is supposed to stick, but with some sort of reset needed to bring all the heroes back, why would the reveal continue?
Sounds like a hot mess to me, but we'll wait until we get our hands on the pages before any buttons get pressed around here.
