Bleeding Cool has spoiled one of Marvel's announcements at New York Comic Con by publishing a tweet from Marvel editor Ellie Pyle:
So it looks like we'll be getting a Black Widow ongoing, which accounts for that Atonement teaser that Marvel sent out along with approximately 700 other teasers last week. The book, according to The Beat, will focus on Natasha's time when she's not being an Avenger, and will play up the movie version of the character, who you may remember had a lot of red in her ledger, or something like that. Marvel had great luck doing something similar with Matt Fraction and David Aja's Hawkeye, one of the best titles being published today (not just by a soulless mainstream corporation, but in all of comics), and Edmondson has long been an Outhouse favorite, so we have high hopes for this one.
Look for Black Widow in January.
