Zechs here, filling in for El Presidente, who I've locked in my bathroom after luring him in there with an expensive bottle of beard conditioner. To be honest, I just didn't want him to blow his stack after learning that, Latino Review, a competing Latino-themed Hollywood gossip website who he deems as infidels, has gotten another Marvel movie scoop.  They're reporting that Saffron Burrows (Deep Blue Sea, Troy) has been cast as Victoria Hand and will be showing up for at least one episode on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. , provided the show is not canceled for its constantly plummeting ratings before then. They give no word on when she'll show up, but this reporter will lay odds it'll be sometime in February.

Hand played a huge role in the Marvel event Dark Reign. She was an accountant before being promoted to administrative assistant under Norman Osborn when he took over S.H.I.E.L.D. and rebranded it H.A.M.M.E.R. After the event, Hand was made S.H.I.E.L.D. liaison to the New Avengers (New Avengers v. 2 #1) and assisted the team until she was killed off by Brother Voodoo's brother Daniel in the final arc of the book (New Avengers v. 2 #28-34).

She was a very thorough agent of H.A.M.M.E.R./S.H.I.E.L.D., even standing up to "heavy" villains such as Bullseye, Moonstone, Molecule Man, and Norman himself, even besting some of them. She's an honest woman trying to do the right thing; though her possible continued allegiance to Norman was called into question numerous times in the New Avengers Volume 2, particularly during the arc when Norman returned (New Avengers v. 2 #12-22), but eventually she proved she fought for the good guys and not Norman. Here's a picture of Victoria Hand, daydreaming about this reporter:

What'll she be doing on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Stay tuned to the Outhouse, and we'll put El Presidente on the case. I've got to let him out of the bathroom eventually, if for no other reason than because I really have to pee.
