The Make a Wish Foundation is an organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. As far as missions go, that's quite possibly the coolest ever. Their latest endeavor will be turning the city of San Francisco into Gotham City to fulfill the wish of Miles, a five year old boy battling leukemia. If you're in the Bay Area, and you want to both witness something awesome and contribute as well (and let's face it, you're a reader of The Outhouse, so you could use some positive karma), then head into the city on November 15 and participate by joining the crowd at one of the locales below and cheering Miles on.
Here's the info from Make a Wish:
Come join us for a fun-filled day of everything Bat as a young crimefighter captures villains and saves the day on November 15th!
Oh, and if you can't make it to San Francisco, you can donate to Make a Wish as well.
Our friends at Nix Comics are sponsoring The Outhouse this week. Show them you appreciate it by checking out their comics. One dollar from every Nix Comics sold this month will go to Kirby-4-Heroes.
