With less going on in his musical life and not wanting to be lonely no more, Rob Thomas is producing a drama of the iZombie DC comic book for the CW.
iZombie will be a supernatural crime procedural that centers on a med student-turned-zombie who, when Push comes to shove, takes a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains at 3 A.M. that she must eat so she won't get Unwell . But with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse’s memories, making for a Long Day and Mad Season. With the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head and get Back 2 Good.
Thomas promised fans of iZombie that the show would be just like the ocean, under the moon, citing that it's the same emotion that he gets from you. Thomas complimented fans of the comic, telling them that they've got the kind of loving that can be so smooth, and asking them to give him his heart.
"Make it real," Thomas insisted, "or just forget about it."
