We'd previously discussed the rumor that Wonder Woman would be making an appearance of some sort in the Batman vs. Superman film, and that Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif in Thor: The Dark World) had spoken with Warner Bros. leading many to believe she might be in talks for the role. Well, Jaimie Alexander is apparently out since she is already part of a continuing Marvel property, but DC is still apparently looking for their Wonder Woman. Maybe. (That's how rumors work, ya know?)
The casting call is for a woman that is "tall, brunette, athletic and exotic," and most are thinking Wonder Woman from that description. But keep in mind, it could be for any number of other parts in the movie. THR reporter Borys Kit has tweeted that he isn't so sure this role is about Wonder Woman and he doesn't expect her to be in the film. Though he also said he's heard a rumor that a certain "Diana" might appear. Even for a brief appearance though, you want to make sure you cast the right actress even for a brief Diana appearance since she might very well be staring in her own movie later.
Whatever the role is, Variety is reporting that Olga Kurylenko, Gal Gadot, and Elodie Young are all contenders for the part.
Variety also mentions that other Justice Leaguers may make an appearance, specifically mentioning the Flash. Again, even if these rumors are true, who knows what capacity an appearance might be. Alter Ego only cameo, some sort of run down in files Bruce Wayne has assembled, etc.
