In an interview with ComicVine, Marguerite Bennett confirmed she'd be writing two one-shots focusing on two of DC's female characters. Lois Lane #1 and Joker's Daughter #1 will both be released in February, drawn by Emanuela Lupacchino (X-Factor) and Meghan Hetrick (Fairest) respectively. The Lois Lane one-shot will focus on the character's relationship with her family, while the Joker's Daughter one-shot will give more insight into the character, who was introduced two months ago and is now appearing in Catwoman.
Since we delight in pointing out all of DC's mistakes on the Outhouse, I'd just like to take a moment to applaud the company for pushing two comics with female leads written by a female writer with female pencillers. More of that, please. Here's to hoping that one (Lois Lane) or both gets an ongoing title soon.
