Although we've known this for a month or so, Marvel confirmed this morning that James Robinson and Leonard Kirk will be the creative team on a new Fantastic Four series. In an interview with USA Today, Robinson stated that his new arc will focus on "the fall and rise of the Fantastic Four", and will particularly deal with Johnny Storm coping with a loss of his powers. Other plotlines will include the Fantastic Four fighting the Avengers (presumably because Wolverine has the hots for either Valeria or redhead Alecia Masters and wants to eliminate all potential competition with his typical Machiavellian plotting), Franklin Richards using his reality altering abilities and the Thing facing the harsh realities of prison life.
This is the second Marvel ongoing that Robinson will be working on. He's also writing an All-New Invaders series which involves the original Human Torch and friends.
