The new author for Batwoman confirmed he'd be concluding the loose end from #24 in Batwoman Annual set for next spring.

Still miffed at the way Batwoman #24 ended without writers J.H. Williams and W. Haden Blackman concluding their run? Hoping that there will be some closure to the arc?
Well, new writer for the book Marc Andreyko confirmed in an interview over at Comicosity that he'll be writing the finale to it in a Batwoman Annual. The only bad news? You'll have to wait until the spring of 2014 to read it. Here's the excerpt from the interview where he says this:
MSG: Of course, not unlike Batman himself, Kate Kane has her own extended cast of characters, some you know very well in fact! How does it feel to return to Cameron Chase and Mr. Bones after all this time?
MA: Well, I haven’t written them yet! I will be finishing up the cliffhanger from #24 in the Batwoman Annual out this spring and I am greatly looking forward to revisiting my old friends in the New 52!
So there's something "positive" for previous fans of the book, even if it isn't from the original team.
