Michael Chiklis Presents: Michael Chiklis's Pantheon from IDW and Michael Chiklis Starring Michael Chiklis

Michael Chicklis will produce and star in a Michael Chiklis TV show about a Michael Chiklis comic book by Michael Chiklis.

IDW sent out a press release today announcing that they will be producing a TV show about a comic book by Michael Chiklis, star of the popular FX police drama The Shield. Titled Michael Chiklis's Pantheon, the comic is about Greek gods returning to the present day, and features a character who looks… exactly like Michael Chiklis.

"No, I'm not saying that I'm a Greek God," explained Chiklis, posing as if he were about to hurl a lightning bolt down from the top of Mount Olympus. "My… I mean the main character in the book, Chichael Miklis, has nothing to do with me whatsoever."

"That being said," Chiklis continued, "I would probably be a good choice for the role in the TV series, due to factors completely unrelated to the comic being about me."

"I'll have my agent reach out to my agent about it," Chiklis concluded.

Michael Chiklis Presents: Michael Chiklis in Michael Chiklis's Pantheon Starring Michael Chicklis is is now in the early stages of development, but you can check out the five issue miniseries on comiXology today. Here's the press release:
