Oopsy! Newsarama Accidentally Leaves Question About Sexual Harassment Out of In Depth Interview With DC Execs

A clerical error led to the important question not being included in the list sent to Dan Didio and Jim Lee.

In a move that surely leaves everyone at the website slapping their foreheads and saying "doh!", Newsarama, usually known for their hard hitting journalism rivaled only by CBR and, forgot to include the question about DC's recent sexual harassment scandal in their in-depth interview with DC Co-Publishers Dan Didio and Jim Lee. The interview, which covers other important topics such as "Are we still going to have a varied multiverse going forward?" and "Any characters you want to tease that are coming up?," was originally meant to include the question, "DC has recently come under fire for its handling of multiple sexual harassment complaints against senior DC editor Eddie Berganza and others, with some allegations claiming that DC puts more effort into protecting harassers and themselves than they do into creating a safe working environment." However, a clerical error led to the question being cut out of the email, and Dan and Jim never got a chance finally to address this serious issue in a substantial way on a major news outlet.

On the bright side, we did learn that DC will be taking a "back to basics" approach with Rebirth, and that the event "really synchronizes and harmonizes pre-52 with "New 52" continuity." Read the rest of the interview here.

At press time, an upcoming CBR interview with Geoff Johns reportedly contains a recipe for grilled tofu accidentally copied and pasted over a question about DC's plans to institute comprehensive reform of their sexual harassment policies. We'll keep you updated.
