Will Dennis has replaced former Dark Horse editor-in-chief Scott Allie on the Image Comics anthology Where We Live. The anthology will benefit survivors of the October 1 Las Vegas shooting, the deadliest in America's history. Dennis will serve as volunteer editor on the book "curating and coordinating the project."

While the anthology is for a good cause, the original press release on October 31 left some confused as to why Allie was involved in the project. Allie has a long history of alleged harassment at Dark Horse. Upon his departure from the company, former Dark Horse editor Brendan Wright tweeted, "For the first and only time, Scott Allie has improved the work environment at Dark Horse."

"When [Image Comics Publisher] Eric [Stephenson] asked me to join the team, I was really overcome with emotion," Dennis said in a statement. "The magnitude of this tragedy is incomprehensible and if i can help in any way to bring some small measure of relief to the survivors, I'm there without hesitation. There's already been an amazing outpouring from creators and I'm certain the end result will be extremely powerful."

The full proceeds from Where We Live will be donated to a to-be-named existing GoFundMe benefiting the survivors of the shooting. In addition to Dennis, the book will be curated by JH Williams III, Wendy Wright-Williams, Dave Stewart, and Eric Stephenson.
