Generations: The Phoenix #1 (Preview)

Take a look at the second of Marvel's GENERATIONS one-shots.

Source: Comics Continuum

As part of the rebirth of their comics line, Marvel brings us ten Generations one-shots. They claim it's not time travel or alternate-reality versions. Last week's Hulk one-shot seemed to involve time-travel but also tossed the Vanishing Point into the mix. So how do the current heroes meet their predecessors?  Let's find out more as Teen Jean meets Phoenix Jean.

Marvel's solicit hypes the shit out of this issue:

Teenage Jean Grey is willing to do whatever it takes to avoid the fate that befell her predecessor. But when Jean is cast through time and comes face-to-face with the newly possessed Phoenix, will she find the key to saving herself...or learn that her fate is sealed? But what Universe-changing events will be witnessed on the final pages of this story?!

About the Author - IvCNuB4

IvCNuB4 likes to maintain an air of mystery by never publicly revealing his true name unless you are one of the four lucky Outhouse posters he has PM'd it to. A life-long Chicago native, he was introduced to comics by his older brother's vast collection of Silver Age issues. When he is not at his day job as an IT geek or making the most of Chicago's three months of incredible summer, he can found spending way too much time with his very large, very loud Italian family. You will never find him on the likes of Facebook or Twitter as he scoffs at the necessity of most forms of social media.
